Ok so last year I did a post on Ankara styles and most of you loved it as I got so much views. And this year I’m not sure if you’ve all noticed, but I honestly think that printed outfits are about to, actually is already taking the fashion industry by storm. I’m a huge fan of printed styles in fact I love getting mine tailored as I like putting my own style in what I wear, in fact anyone can do it! You have the Aztec prints, Kintege and Ankara. My personal Favourite Ankara, not because its Nigerian but because this fabric is simply “vibrant patterns of very rich colourful designs” – according to the African Clothes Store. What I love about Ankara is that it is 100% cotton and each Ankara wax tells a story or any traditional tale for example, beeswax, flower or shell.
Ankara wax: Flower
The fact that Ankara is cotton it makes the fabric quite durable and can be worn to your taste. African waxes are commonly worn to weddings or occasional parties. So that is why I have brought up a pictures for you all to show you how its easily done.
